Acupoint Pressure Therapy (APT)
The following is an example of some of the 36 specifically selected points taught by Dr. Bole. Acupoint Pressure Therapy (ATP): An Oriental Approach for Healing Body, Mind, and Spirit is an eight hour course based on traditional Chinese medicine. These special points have a positive and profound effect on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Stimulation of these points with finger pressure is very effective in rebalancing and harmonizing our energy resulting in better overall health and happiness.
For more information or to reserve your place to learn this very effective system of healing, call the Traditional Acupunture Center at 352-335-1975 or e-mail
Acupoint Pressure Therapy (APT) is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
These point locations are frequently sites of Chi blockage and tension
-- especially in the points found in muscular areas. By applying firm,
steady pressure with your index finger to these points, you will be
able to release and move the Chi. If there is pain, it indicates that
the muscles in that area are not relaxed. It may take several sessions
to relax chronic conditions.
Contraindications
Usually there are not any negative side effects to stimulating these
points; however, do not apply pressure to the following:
- Areas of inflammation
- If the skin is broken, blistered, swollen or infected
- Directly over varicose veins or bruises
- Areas of water retention (edema)
Also avoid over-stimulation of points or strong pressure when working
with people who are recovering from a serious illness, the elderly or
anyone in a generally weakened condition.
Do not stimulate these points during pregnancy!

"I had a cervical fusion in 1999 because of collapsed discs that caused severe pain. In 2004 the pain started recurring. I was on pain medications and I was looking at further extensive surgery. After three sessions with Dr. Bole the pain was completely alleviated. To my mind it was nothing short of a miracle." - P.M., Branford, Florida
